It’s wonderful to see children taking part in this competition. It’s a lovely community initiative, and we’re really looking forward to seeing their art and writing.

The Buta Azerbaijan Scotland Association regularly organises cultural and community initiatives aimed at promoting Azerbaijani traditions, strengthening ties within the diaspora, and fostering intercultural dialogue with the local society.

Chair of the Association and a coordinator of the Coordinating Council of British Azerbaijanis, Nara Morrison plays an active role in uniting the community, supporting the integration of younger generations into public life in their country of residence, while helping them maintain strong ties with their historical homeland. Her work extends beyond cultural projects, such as promoting national holidays and the arts, to matters of social and political significance.
